ABOUT GERRY
BEHIND THE LENS
Born and raised near Steyr in Austria, I live in Vienna since 1992 and remained my profession in the restaurant business faithfully.
This gives me sufficient time to do a 3 month trip every year.
The passion to travel got joined now by the passion of photography.
In December 2014 I completed 3 Wildlife Photography workshops with Sudhir Shivaram in India followed by a 6 day 1to1 wrokshop in Streetphotography and Photo Journalism with Gmb Akash, one of the very best in my opinion, in November 2015. In September 2017 I got the chance to join a one day portrait photography workshop with the fabulous Agata Serge in Amsterdam.
New countries, cultures, people, impressions,
new colors, tastes, smells, sounds and values .
YES, TRAVELLING IS FOR ALL SENSES AND LENSES!
-often exhausting - but definitely totally recreation in the head.
